I have a Probook 430 G1 of which I cannot install the WiFi card.
Once again, I am faced with 1 single laptop model which can have 7 different brands of WiFi cards... So I tried searching the hardware ID for some weird Russian site to tell me what I'm actually looking for...
Might I add that \VEN_1400&DEV_7630 only has 3.. THREE.. Google results!
I had to physically remove the WiFi card to see what it is.
Looking for W8.0 drivers show no Mediatek drivers. Luckily the W8.1 section on the samen friggin' laptop does show it. Ofcourse, it isn't detected.
What am I supposed to do here?

Sorry that driver didn't work.
Did you try the one directly from Mediatek?
You want the driver from the first grouping of pcie card listed at the top of the webpage.
