I purchased my DV6-3170us 5/2011 and have good serial number but looking at the screenshot above I have revision 5 instead of B2. What is that all about ? From what I read it is supposed to be either a B2 or a B3.

What do I have here ?

Another question....this machine screams with the new 520 Intel SSD installed. Do I have SATA 3 capability with the HM65 chipset to FULLY utilize the cabability of this 6G drive?

 i have HP PAVILION DV6 6017TX LAPTOP.  serial  no of my laptop is 5CH1121F7D. standard warranty starting date of my laptop is 4 january 2011. system device manager shows that there is a faulty device connected on my computer as mentioned by HP. plz tell me whether my chipset is defective or not & what should i do if it is defective. this is my screenshoot of my device manager. i m send this message 10-20 times.but still there is no reply form any one. plz help me. thank u
