This computer meets the requirements for HAXM, but Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) is not turned on. HAXM cannot be

installed until VT-x is enabled.
Please refer to the Intel HAXM documentation for more information.

Is there a reason you have not invoked the BIOS and turned the virtualization support on yet?

Press the power button and immediately begin tapping the Esc key to invoke the startup menu. In the startup menu press the F10 key. The system configuration tab has what you need.  Enable virtualization technology and then press the F10 key to save and restart your notebook.

Thanks for responding.

Please do not think I'm computer illiterate. Some times it take me a minute to catch up on things. I did as you instructed but can not get bios to pop up. Use to be on my older version of windows you would see for a short time hit f10 but i do not see this on this notebook. i have paused and waited for that. i have repeatedly tapped f10 as soon as my notebook turns back on. please enlighten me to my errors.

Sad thing is once this is done ill be upgrading to 10.
