Keyboard not working properly

My HP dv-1123 us keyboard is not wokring properly. Its jumping from one place to another without any reason. While I am typing a sentence it is going to some other paragraph or some other word. It also minimized my current window without any reason. I uninstalled my keyboard from Device manager but the same problem remains.

Please help.

Thank,

Hi,

Download the latest installer for Quicklaunch on the link below and save it to your Desktop.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501-47000/sp46731.exe

When the download has completed, right click the installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation ( if using Vista or 7 ).  When this has completed it will ask for a restart, but ignore this and shutdown the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter, remove the battery, and then hold down the Power button for a full minute.  Then re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter and start up.

Regards,

Re: Keyboard not working properly

Hi,

Download the ALPS Touchpad driver for your OS and save it to your Desktop.

Windows 7

Windows Vista

When the download has completed, right click the installer and select 'Run as Administrator'.  When complete, reboot the notebook.
