My keyboard does work only with AC adaptor and does not with battery. That to some of the keys (like 'u') does not work and others (like 'w' gives 'wi') and other keys work fine. Any suggestions ?

Press the FN key and hold. And press num lock once, your keyboard is back.

It works...I did it upon the advise in this forum and it works.

Press down the function key first, it is the "fn" key at the bottom right beside the microsoft logo on your keypad, then press the num lk(num lock) key up top where all the function keys are and let it go...then type.

Repeat this if necessary.

Hi,

I was having a similar problem.

Try this: Go to Control Panel>Clock, Language and Region>Add a Language.

If it is not set to English (United States), go to Add a Language and select English>United States.

Move up this option to the top, and remove the others if you don't need them.

Hope this helps.
