Problem Signature 01:6.1.7600.16385

[ Edited ]

On my laptop Pavilion DV9233CL, operating system Windows 7, I am getting the following error:

Problem Event Name:   StartupRepairOffline

Problem Signature 01:          6.1.7600.16385

Problem Signature 02:          6.1.7600.16385

Problem Signature 03:          Unknown

Problem Signature 04: 21200532

Problem Signature 05: AutoFailover

Problem Signature 06: 14, another time 26

Problem Signature 07: BadDriver

OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1

Locale ID: 1033

When powering up, go to system recovery, searches for windows installations, finds Operating System Windows 7, and asks for installation media.  I loaded my windows 7 CD, continued, start up checked my computer attempting to repair but could not. I sent information about this problem to Microsoft. Problem detail is as mentioned above.

System recovery options, windows memory diagnostic restarted the computer, and detected hardware problem with the message: "To identify and repair these problems, you will need to contact the computer manufacturer."  I am connected to internet and error report is sent to usoft but I can't bring up the computer. I can go to command window and look at my files and copy them to memory stick or CD.  I can see the memory chips in the back of the computer.  Should I just replace the memory chips?
