Re HP Pavilion dv7-4173us

Does the HP Pavilion dv7-4173us, have a video card or does it have onboard (on the motherboard) video. Or how would i look that up?

Re: Re HP Pavilion dv7-4173us

Hi,

The following link shows its specs:

   http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02499438&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en...

It has "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Graphics".

Regards.

Yes I had already found that link.  Thank you for that answer but that does not tell me whether there is a separate video card or whether the video is a chip on the motherboard.  I am trying to determine that question.

Re: Re HP Pavilion dv7-4173us

I did find this page http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Radeon-HD-4250.29664.0.html that indicated that

"the AMD ATI Radeon HD 4250 (sometimes also ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 called) is an onboard (shared Memory) graphics chip in the RS880M chipset."

But I didnt know if the dv7 4173us used the RS880M Chipset and/or whether there could be a AMD ATI Radeon HD 4250 board as well as a chip.
