hello all users at HP support forum.
I already found alot of comments on other websites about this problem that I am asking about. But there wasn't a solution available. I hope the forum can help. So far I already know:
"hit the esc button to bring up the menu and then hit f10 or f2 to get on to the bios"
well yes of course I did that on my first HP 10 years ago.
It just doesn't work on this modell, whatever may have been disabled I still need to get into bios.
Maybe any with and idea to reset the bios?. well yes of course I already know that I just unplug the cmos battery for a minute.
So... ehh.. Anyone know where the cmos battery is located? - the back-cover easiliy came off but I can't locate the battery.
I hope someone know about this, please help

The link you gave did not have appropriate content regarding my notebook.
That link was another model.
The model that I have is the one which corrersponds to the manual which HP gave the following name.
c03283817.pdf, now that's the model I am talking about. Sorry it's a danish manual because of my nationality,
but anyways supporters who might feel interested to help will be able to see on the pictures which model I am talking about (not as it will be of much though).....
And for further notice the manual doesn't give a hint to the problem which still is,
can't log-in to the setup utility (bios).
Of course the manual describes how to do it, I know that part.
The problem is when I hit the esc (at the point where I am supposed to do it) nothing happens, the further menu doesn't come up and thererfor I don't have the option to enter bios. Very strange case.

To start Setup Utility, follow these steps:
Turn on or restart the computer, and then press esc while the “Press the ESC key for Startup
Menu” message is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Press f10 to enter Setup Utility.
Let us know if this helps.

Thanks for the tip on the page 69 in the manual. That's how you enter the bios, yes sir.
The problem is when I hit the esc (at the point where I am supposed to do it) nothing happens, the further menu doesn't come up and therefor I don't have the option to enter bios. Very strange case.
