hp CDDVDW SU-208BB driver not working hp envy m4 notebook pc

i have a message in my device status that:Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)..even anytime i try to upgrade the device driver

Please see if the MS fix it tool will work for you.

If the auto fix doesn't work try the manual fix by reading further down the page and click to expand the section labeled "Let Me Fix it Myself."

Have you tried the Microsoft Automatic Fixit utilty for CD\DVD issues to see if will resolve your issue?

 

Was Windows 8 the original OS?

 

Is your notebook still i warranty? Warranty status check

the ms fix it tool gave me a message that we're sorry,but this troubleshooter is not compatible with your current system's configuration..
