hi. i have an hp g62-b85eq with an processor P6100 http://ark.intel.com/products/50175/Intel-Pentium-Processor-P6100-3M-Cache-2_00-GHz?q=Intel%20Pentiu... and i want to upgrade it with an processor on i5-2450M  http://ark.intel.com/products/53452/Intel-Core-i5-2450M-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz

My question is if i can upgrade processor becouse P6100 is on pga988 socket and I5-2450M is on ppga988 socket?

I know that they have save 3M cache and max  tdp of 35 W, and that I5 with ppga988 is new generation of pga988, but i don't know if my motherboad will recognize new processor.

Thank's in advance.
