I have the same AMD Dual-Core E2-1800 with only 1.7GHz of processing power, is it possible to upgrade to an Intel cpu or will I have to stick with amd?

Thanks!

Intel would not be possible. The socket would be different.

OK thank you.

So if I would want to upgrade the processor it should be e.g. an AMD quatcore.

But I read somewhere that it would be better to upgrade the RAM memory.

Any idea what is the limit of RAM with my laptop? And the processor?

Thanks in advance!
