webcam not working on Pavilion dv5-2135dx

webcam will not load when i opend hp mediasmart webcam ive re installed from hp site

restated computer

factory reset and restored computer like it just came out of the box

...still didnt work it says same thing everytime

no webcam detected etc..help i called hp n they told me im gonna have to pay to talk to tech person just cuz its out of warranty so im kinda begging feel free to email me i actually encourage it thank you for reading and thank you for your time{Personal Information Removed}

If you made a full recovery in F11 and still the problem is most likely that a hardware failure
Have you tried to check in Device Manager under Imaging device camera does exist? HP WEBCAM
If not you go to the laboratory coming to your home to replace the webcam device

yea i tried that imaging device camera isnt even in my device manager but what is the labratory n how can i find it

If imaging device is not listed
This is a hardware problem you have two options
One option: contact HP support to obtain the address of the nearest service center in your home to send the computer lab for the replacement of a camera.
Second option: buy web camera with USB connection and work with, although it's not so convenient, but you can minimize costs.

yea i have a usb webcam was gonna save that for last resort
and hp customer service was gonna charge me jus to speak with someone bcz im not under warranty but u atleast pointed me in the direction so thank you again very helpful but i will continue to look for ways without contacting hp
