Hallo, can somebody help me?
I have computer HP Elite 7000 Microtower with monitor HP 2310i and it make me crazy sometimes.
Here is the problem: If I play some game (e.g. Fallout 3, Command & Conquer 4, ...) the monitor goes spontaneous to "Stand By" mode and the computer freeze. The problem occurs irregularly and I did not identify the cause.

Most likely graphics card driver/hardware, maybe start by updating the graphics driver?
I am an HP employee.

I have the same problem. My configuration is Elite 7000 with i7 and Win 7 x64. I've downloaded latest driver for GT 230 but problem still persists.
Computer runs normally during regular work, but when I run some computer game, or application that uses video card more extensively (like playing movies through Internet Explorer - but not from YouTube) after 5 to 10 minutes monitor goes to Stand by mode, sound stops and I have to turn off the computer. During black screen fan makes much louder noise than before it went to Stand by.

Hallo all,
probably I found a hint to described problem.
There is written, that the problem is caused by chip Pegatron. The solution is to bring the broken computer to nearest HP service and replace graphic card in PC.
