Hi, I installed a new network printer (HP LAserjet M1530 MFP Series PCL 6). And now every time I hibernate my laptop I get ablue screen when I start up with the following message. If I unsintall the HP software, then hibernate works fine, but I get a windows has recovered from a serious error' every time the laptop restarts. Now I can't have the HP software installed or uninstalled without my system being seriously handicapped. Unfortunately all my previous windows resotre points won't let me restore to them for some reason, so I am trippley stuffed!
Windows XP SP3 2.49gHz, 2gB RAM. 8GB free space on C drive (where printer installed to) & 80g free on D drive.
Error message keeps mentioning USBSCAN.SYS as being the reason for the reset. I have updated all the printer drivers using the HP utility.
Please let me know if I can provide you with any more information that would help in resolving this issue as soon as possible. Regards,
Brad

Just to let you know I fixed my issue installing 'Driver tool' sometimes called 'driver detectvie' which installs some annoying Norton crap as well. but it did work, so I forgive them for that.
installs can be foiund at "http://www.drivershq.com/download.aspx?tid=home"
