Hello Everyone,
I recently purchaced this laptop from a pawn shop and it was working great, til one day the battery level just started decreasing. At the tim it said the exact same thing, "(plugged in, charging)". About 12 hours went by and then it said "(plugged in, not charging)". I then ordered a brand new battery fully compatible with this notebook. It started to work fine and a few days ago began to do the exact same thing. I have updated BIOS to F.54 which i got the update from this site. Then my computer wouldnt boot. I took it in and the update had deactivated something on my harddrive. We turned it back on and it booted just fine. Battery started to charge as normal until now. It is stuck at 58% and will not exeed that but it will slowly decrease a percent at a time. I have tried disableing and uninstalling the ACPI, removing battery, shut down, remove AC adapter, hold power 20-40 seconds, replace battery, re-boot...when i log back on its icon is moving as it normally would charging, but stops on the 5th charge cycle of the icon and there it will sit again with the same issue, "(plugged in, charging)"...but no charge...Any ideas folks? It'll be much appreciated ASAP due to this being my only computer..Thank You 435-691-Three8nine6.
