Not sure if this will help anyone but all of these steps didn't solve my problem.  No matter what I did, my lights wouldn't stop blinking and my pc wouldn't start up.  Finally, I shut down the pc and using the quickplay option on the top of the keyboard, instead of the power key,  I started the computer again.  Guess what, no lights and windows booted.  Mine had gone down after installing windows updates and it was restarting.  Hope this might help someone.

 

I take it back, it only worked for a while.  Next time we tried to turn on did the same thing.  THis all h a ppened right after doing a windows update, I hate doing those updates.  Any other suggestions?  I have tried the things suggested on this thread already.
