DV7- 2170us (BRICK)

I purchase the dv9 or 9000 or something in 07, in 09 it was replaced with a DV7 for free thanks to HP, now barely 2 years of owning the DV7 it is practically a brick. I got home last night pressed on, it flickers on for half a second then shuts off, you can hear the fan spin and everything. It repeats this continually, I've done a hard reset and everything. If a lawsuit would happen I have pictures of first degree burns my seven year old cousin received from the battery. It's not safe and I want a quick solution or HP assistance immediately, it's not practical to supply something with such standards that it cant outlast standard use of a laptop. To make matters worse it's my birthday today and I have to film a wedding, where will I dump my video to? I think HP needs to render this fixed, it's not professional and their new attempt at making contact with the consumer even more difficult is the epitome of "Quality Customer Service" they hide recall information in such a stealth manner that I dont even know where to begin. If anyone has any insight or a number I'm supposed to call to have this fixed it would be greatly appreciated.
