Three weeks ago I bought an HP Folio 13 from Jb Hifi only after two weeks of use for the screen to start randomly flashing green while I'm in Word or on the internet. I got to exchange it and come home TODAY with a new computer and start setting it up only to find this one is screwed up in a whole different way.
Initial boot-up went fine until I downloaded the updates from HP and the computer tried to reboot - it couldn't. It started and re-started about 3 or four times, before it succeeded and told me the: EsAdvRemIntegrator file had stopped working.
But, then I went ahead and installed Word and Norton and worked for a couple of hours - I didn't have a choice, I'm a freelance editor with my own business on a deadline and I needed those programs to get my work done.
I switched off and then I realized I had to log on again to send an email and what happened? The blasted computer wouldn't boot up - I had to press it three or four times again, the screen filled with static on the second to last try where I glimpsed an error message, before it went black again before the computer finally started,
I haven't received an error message about the EsAdvRemIntegrator file again, but since that messgae appeared everything has been going wrong with this computer, even just swicthing it on.
What can I do? I paid a fortune to get what I thought was a reliable HP computer - I only went HP because my last laptop lasted ages without trouble and now everything is going wrong with th is one.
