Dv7-1020 will not boot vista home edition

I downloaded several apps from AppStore when the system froze then shut down. When I turn it on it blinks all the lights, hard drive and rank come on with a lighter blue screen and turns off again. Tried self test, each test shows pass, but then it shows self test failed. Any ideas?
