Hello, i have a G42 laptop for a while now, when i first bought it everything goes smoothly i can play Black ops, battlefield 3, MW3 at medium settings smoothly. But after a few month, i cant even play Timeshift in the lowest settings without experience any lag.
I try everything, uninstall software i didnt use, disk defragment, disk clean up, registry defrag and error repair. But nothing works, i wanted to re-install the window cause i think there's too much stuff but HP doesn't provide a disc or in the laptop itself.
Anyone can help me would be appreciate.
System information:
Intel core i5
CPU M 480 @ 2.67 Ghz
4 gb Ram
Graphic- ATI mobility Radeon HD 6370
Window 7 Home Premium x64

Hi,
Your machine should have a Recovery partition if you are using the original hard drive and haven't deleted it. Make sure backing up all of your files before restoring the PC/laptop to factory state.
To set your PC/laptop to factory state, restart the PC/laptop. At the HP welcome screen tap the F11 key to launch the recovery process.
Follow the instructions provided on the screen.
Good luck,
