HP DV 6 6160 se hangs when used more den 2 hrs

my laptop fan speed increases when used more den 2 hrs and den freezes even if i closed the lid the fan still opearates

 

only option to restart i also updated bios but no luck :smileysad:

Hi,

 

It sounds the system is getting hot, close the lid does not help, even worse. Please keep it cooler, here are few tips:

I just browse how can it get so hot on just browsing nd it happens daily

Hi,

 

Check the inlet/outlet vents, any dust .... if the problem did not go away you may need to look at the CPU thermal paste. Please check the vents first to see any improvement.
