Hello
I bought an HP Envy laptop last September for college. I also use it for gaming but the last couple of days (maybe even weeks) it starts lagging in EVERY game and even freezes sometimes (everything goes extremely slow - also includes sound - for like 2 minutes). I don't even need to be gaming for this to be happening, even watching some Youtube videos freezes my computer temporarily.
I don't think it's overheating because the temps are all around 60-70°C when I'm not gaming (although the left side of my handrest is getting pretty hot)
The model is HP Envy 2130eb
If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the double post, but this is probably an issue with the graphic drivers, correct?
I would download the newest drivers, but HP only gives the ones from March 2011.
Would this be better: http://leshcat.blogspot.com/2012/04/catalyst-123-w

Hello,
I've got the new CCC and moded drivers that your laptop needs:
Read down to the fifth window. And don't forget to uninstall the AMD Catalyst Install Manager and restart laptop before installing these.
ED: And cleaning your laptop's vents out with compressed air will help, too!

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Whenever I uninstall the AMD CIM, restart my laptop, install the new drivers and restart my laptop again (just to be sure) Windows doesn't recognize my AMD graphics card anymore. I'm stuck with only my Intel card.
EDIT: when I want to configure it to use my AMD card again, I get the error
'[Window Title]
\cli.exe Start PowerXpressHybrid
[Content]
Cannot find the file \cli.exe Start PowerXpressHybrid. Check if it's the correct name and then try again.
[OK]
(or something like that)

Hello,
You should be taking this issue to Operating Systems and Software. Because that is the real issue that you're having. And after uninstalling and restarting and installing, the new CCC should be opened before restarting again. . . . just to be safe. Anyway, from what I can see, you are missing the Manager for Switchable Graphics. Please repost in OSAS.
