Hello, my friend is having difficulty with his HP Pavilion g6-1b74ca Notebook PC. It is not starting up. When powering up, it says that the computer did not shut down properly last time, and offers to either start up normally or enter system recovery mode. If I choose to start up normally, it goes to the windows 7 screen with the moving dots that turn into the windows logo, and then hangs there indefinitely. If I choose the other option, it enters a diagnostic mode which allows me to test the hardware in different ways. When I ran the "startup test", it reported a "failure ID OLPTKA-5LC5SR-MFH15G-60WL03". I am unsure of where to proceed from here. Any help would be appreciated.

Please Test the hard drive then the memory modules, post back the results.
