HP Pavilion ze2000 PC Notebook not booting

When i power on the laptop it beeps twice then shows a blk screen. it says  Press<f1> to resume, <f2> to setup but my keyboard doesnt respond to the button.

 

I have called customer service they say to by a new computer, becuase they dont know how to help.  This really it great service.

Try a hard reset.


remove battery and unplug the DC power adapter plug
press and hold the power button for about thirty seconds.
replace the DC power plug (without the battery) and press the power button
if you now see Windows on your LCD display then all is well.

 

if not, remove the memory module(s) and place one module in the lower soDimm slot..

Try powering up again.

    Hi

    Wondered if you could please help me, Erico?  I have the same model laptop and am having the same problem. I have followed your suggestion of a hard reset but it doesn't work and I am still getting a black screen with "Press F1 to Reset or F2 to Setup" - please help!
