Hi, when I switch on ProBook 4520s, the HP logo and menu in lower left corner comes up and then the screen becomes black, ventilators speed up and the system hangs on this screen for 10 mins. If I press ctl+alt+del at this blank screen, the HP logo comes back again and the boot goes as normal with windows loading logo coming straight up. This happens everytime when I turn on this computer. If I only restart the system, the blank screen doesn't come up.
Anyone having the same problem? Any solutions?
Thank you very much in advance

Hello,
I have a similar problem... my notebook won't start until I enter BIOS and exit it.

Hi there, did you get a soloution to this, I have the exact same problem.
I have restored the factory image, I have reinstalled from DVD. I have also formatted the system partition and still have the same problem.
Need help fast.
