HP dm4 AMD display driver stops responding

HP dm4 freezes and I have to do a hardware Power Off, about once a day.  SOMETIMES screen blanks & it comes back with the error msg, "Display driver AMD driver stopped responding."  This happens 4 or 5 times a day.  I've updated the BIOS and searched for a newer display driver - there isn't one on the HP site and the AMD site won't let me install their newer version.  Any ideas?

 

HP Pavilion dm4t, Windows 7 64-bit, Intel i5-430M, 512 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470, Intel HD graphics, 500 GB drive, 4 GB RAM.

same prob here. i have 64-bit windows 7. could it be related to this?
