Whenever I shut down, the computer states that an update is being installed. Obviously that is not true as I shut down at least 5 or 6 times every day. Am I stuck in a loop? Eventually the computer shuts down but should not be happening every time. Help!!!

Hello,
Please goto either Windows Update or Hp Update, the offending update while the laptop is running. To do this, launch the appropriate Update, the one you think it is, and then either postpone the update indefinitely for Hp or Hide, left click, the update for Windows. This will stop the issue dead, okay? After this, you can do the research as to the why?
