Thank y y said HP will fix it, but your last reply was to unhook the HDD and i did and it still didnt come on, does that mean its the hard drive, or the motherboard, look at, our last ,back and forth text, what is yr opinion, if its the hardrive i can try to sell it for parts, looking over our convo and yr opinions what do y think, is the problem, right now i cant aford a new one i need yr help thank y

I've already checked...

if it was the hard drive then the screen should come up after removing the hard drive... but screen is still same...

do you have access to an external monitor??

try hooking it..

if still no luck then i'm sorry to state that it is the motherboard and you'll need to replace it...

and yes they are **bleep** costly... .. may u can find cheaper ones as well... @ arround 60-70 USD
