HP pavilion dv2315nr not booting up - Black Screen

I know this has been a long going issue with these notebooks but I'm kinda frustrated. Anyway, every time I try to boot the laptop it does nothing but show lights on the dvd and volume buttons. The CAPS and SCROLL lights are not coming on flashing nothing, there are no beeps, hell its not even loading the bios. The fan and the HDD does not come on. The only lights on are the upper lights, DVD drive, and occasionally the power supply light. Nothing blinks.

What I have tried:

Hard Reset - didn't work

Removed the CMOS battery - didn't work

Removed memory - didn't work

Removed HDD - didn't work

I have read on another site to hold Insert and the Scroll keys then power on - didn't work either

Well I thought at least the fan and some blinking lights should function but nothing happens. So I have no error codes just black screen. The laptop was just working 2-3 hours ago until it died. Then I plugged the power adapter in and tried to turn it on...and to no avail, I get a black screen. Does anyone have any other suggestions to fix this issue?

Its a motherboard problem, either repair or replace the motherboard.

This is a common problem on that model, you might consider sending it in for repairs
