Hard disk does not exist....?

Hi I did the worst of woest to all that can be done to a laptop...I dropped it. Now my lapto will not let me in I ran a system diagnostics test.  It stated the hardware does not exist but I do have 100% memory. What do I do? I have an hp compaq presario CQ56  THANX
