Have a dv7-4285dx. Running Vista. Worked fine last night before I went to bed, now it won't boot. Logo on back of monitor is flashing. The hard drive sounds like it cycling (starting, stopping or pausing, then trying to spin up again). Getting led lights on caps lock and f12 (wireless). Monitor is dead, nothing at all shows. Any help? Please!!

Hello,
Sorry for the very late reply--But, if you feel comfortable doing this, try reseating the hard drive by opening up the back bay where the Hdd is located and then dis/reconnect it and close the bay and attempt to restart.
Hope this does it.
