LAPTOP FREEZES ON CONNECTING LAN CABLE !!!

MY dv6 2163tx pavillion notebook gets freeze after 3-4 min when i connect lan wire..

 

I tried reinstalling the windows but the problem remains

 

i also  reinstalled the latest drivers from HP website ..

 

HELP !!!!

What if you try a different cable or a different network?  Same result?

    i tried everything ..... it get freezes even connecting to other laptops directly ...... God knows what has happened..... But Wireless ( wifi ) works well . . . .

    Well, if everything is fine on the software side then I blame the hardware.  The NIC is likely integrated to the system board and something is getting shorted out.  You'll likely need to replace the system board.  You can check the warranty here: http://www13.itrc.hp.com/service/ewarranty/warrantyResults.do?admit=109447627+1286541891570+28353475 and contact HP here: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/contact_us.html
