Goto Cnet and download CPUZ, GPU-Z, and HWMonitor. Once downloaded, scanned and installed, start all three and begin playing a game until the slo-mo issue arises. Then exit the game. These three tools have built in graphs and self-imaging; small camera icons that with a click will record the previous minutes in a file.

Okay, hey, hello, good job, best game booster!
Okay, one problem that I see right off from the start is that your card only has 64mb memory dedicated to it. You need to open up your laptop's bios and change that memory value to atlest 128mb memory to start.
If it were a rattler. . . .
Still researching. . . .
You might be able to raise the value to 256mb, but do not go there yet, the card may get bricked!
If it were a rattler. . . .
Still researching. . . .
Also, you need to turn Shadows Off in
Graphics.
- FSAA Off
- Light Detail Minimum
- Texture Filtering Trilinear
- Texture Resolution Medium/low
- Videos Medium
- Pixel Doubling Off
- DX8 Shaders Off
- Shaders Maximum
VIDEO CARD OPTIONS: EFFECTS
- Effects Detail Medium
- Model Decals Medium
- Water Resolution Low
- Reflections & Displays Low
- Volumetric Lights Off
And, hey, you need to open up the window on the gpu that says sensors and take a pic, so that I can see what the temperature values for the last five minutes of gaming are. But, hey, the heat values for endgame-playing aren't bad. 93 max isn't that high if it wasn't there for long. I just wish that you would of opened the sensors tab on gpu and took a pic of the last five minutes Change the values, play game, record, and get back.

Where exactly can i change those values? :-)
Than will try again with the new once and post you another screenshot? Or you like the logfile better?
thanks :-)

Hello again,
In the NVIDIA Control Panel. Get to know this control panel and the options that it has. I don't have a Nvidia card, so your kind of on your own there. Just hunt around to the 3d and 2d settings and take them down. Also, have you gone into the bios and given the card more memory? Without more memory, we're not moving forward. And a screenshot of the GPU-Z open graph will do just fine.

hey there again,
now given the card in bios 128 mb memory, thats the maximum i could put it on in bios.
in the nvidea control panel i cant find most of the values you gave to me.
but you already gave a page with tweaks where i changed the settings in the NVIDIA control panel.
here the screens with my new settings:
i tried to put everything on the high performance settings....
after all here are the new screens for the sensors after playing AOE. this time, it only took 2 minutes until it went to slowmotion>
before the game started:
after slowmotion:
hope this helps? ![]()
EDIT:

Okay, hey,
Don't like hearing that 2 minutes deal! We've got to wait until the pics are cleared; could be awhile. . . . Until then, I'm going to do some more intense research on your Nvidea Control Panel. I'm almost positive that it can be upgraded! Which is awesome news! But once I find everything, you're going to have to download, install and get it going. Okay?
Researching. . . .

Here is the link for Nvidia System Tools. From what I've read about your card, you should be able to use this forceware!
