I recently started getting vertical lines on my screen. On start up I get two parallel red lines going the full length of the the screen. There is also some random red in the wall paper. When I go to a web page there is a faint blue vertical line slightly to the left of center. On one music website I sometimes get a solid or broken red line. Any ideas?

Sounds like a corrupted driver, not necessarily a virus, just a damaged equation. Try updating your graphics' card.
If you need further help. . . . post
If it were a rattler. . . .

Hi,
Connect your notebook to external display and check the results.
Note:
Use FN + f4 combination to switch screens.
