okay i see that HP is not really here to help which im not surprised but the title of this forum is Bluescreens, etc WE ARE HERE TO HELP, anyway i got a G62-435DX laptop about 6-8 months old and it is bluescreening several different error codes even in safe mode. I even reinstalled to the factory settings and it still goes to BSOD!
now i tried to run a memory test and it is sitting on 0% for about an hour now i called HP and Joe said he would call me back in 2 hours, I tried everything but cannot find out what is causing these errors. I got driver IRQL Not less or equal, i got system_service_exception, i hope that someone answers me with some help because I dont understand how a factory reinstall of windows 7 home premium is still bringing up blue screens in safe mode!!!!
I am going to buy an external hard drive and see if that helps but it wont, I can tell that this is going to be a nightmare as so many people have problems with these laptops and I dont see anybody answering with any help for us! I am A+ certified so this is what i do, but for some reason this laptop has a HP problem.

I submitted my data through msdt.exe and emailed a few days back. My laptop is still crashing at random and it's highly annoying! What do I do? If it's such a common problem, why can't HP release a fix?

HP REPLACED MY HARD DRIVE UNDER WARRANTY... I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE SPECS BEFOE I INSTALLED IT, THEY GAVE ME A SMALLER HARD DRIVE.... DO NOT TRUST HP.... I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THE BLACK/BLUE SCREEN PROBLEM FOR NEARLY A YEAR NOW... THEY REPLACED THE HARD DRIVE, MAIN BOARD AND RAM BEFORE THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED, BUT THE NEW PROBLEM IS THEY SHORTED ME 40 G ON MY HARD DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HP PRODUCT EVER AGAIN! I AM EXTREMELY ANGRY

you must put the recovery disc in and reboot the computer then press F11 for system recovery or get it to boot from the disc by hitting whatever key it is to get into the boot order menu. You must change the boot order to boot from the cd, so you dont need to even go into safe mode or anything just repeatedly hit the Escape key right after you restart the computer to get the menu up and then press whatever Fn key to change the boot order, It may be a different key on your computer, but on my computer if I hit escape I get into the BIOS, if i press F11 I get into the system recovery menu, and if I press F9 i can change the boot order to boot from the cd.
P.S. I have fixed my blue screen issues by cleaning up my registry with Registry Repair in combination with updating all updates possible on my computer software by using Secunia PSI, a great program that you can google to automatically install all updates for all software on your computer, I also flashed my BIOS and updated all hardware drivers...
Good Luck

I am moderately literate in the language. Blue screen YES, keep flipping back to "press esc key to start windows", then to dos prompt to check system (does nothing) or choose start windows normally and it begins to, then to blue screen... ugh

This post obviously needs some updating as the support key is not valid. Adeqyate and usable info needs to be related here for the suffering HP customers
