Hi,
I have HP Pavilion DV6 1030us laptop. It runs fine while running on AC power but really slows down when removed from power and runs on battery. Can some one please let me know the reason as to why it runs slow and how to fix it.
Thanks in advance.
My laptop configuration is Core 2 Duo ,4 GB Ram.

I would try to take a look at the settings below:
Start - Control Panel - Mobile PC: Change Battery Settings - Change Advanced Power Settings
- Look at Maximum processor state on Battery - try to increase it if possible (see first screenshot below).
- Also take a look at the ATI/Nvidia Power Settings (if available) and possibly set to Maximum Performance when on battery (2nd screenshot below).
Any of these changes will shorten your work time on a battery charge though.
