My mouse freezes randomly

hello all,

Im using pavilion dv6-1330 ev  and my problem is:

when I'm using the laptop the mouse pointer freezes on the screen and wont move again until I remove the battery and restart the device. I tried to reinstall the touchpad driver and didn't work then I made a recovery for the laptop but still facing the same problem. A few months ago this happened once or twice per month so I could live with it now it freezes many many times aday and this is really annoying.

any suggestions ??!?

Hello,

Goto the taskbar and right click the mouse icon, left click Pointing Device Properties, click Hardware, click Properties on the bottom right lower side of window, click Driver, click Rollback and exit. Hope this helps?!

Hello,

And, 'Yes, you do!' It's just that your icon is hidden. Okay? So open up Windows Help and Support and type 'Change mouse settings' without the quotes ' in the query window.  From there you can study up on and learn all there is to know about your mouse and its settings!
