My touchpad and keyboard freezes every once in awhile dm1-4034eo

I have a HP pavilion DM1-4034eo which I bought from the Swedish HP reseller, NetOnNet in february this spring. In the last four months it have experienced a very annoying problem.

The touchpad and the keyboard stops working, it won't respond to anything that I press or move on the touchpad etc. The thing is, the computer does not freeze, because if I plug in an USB-keyboard and mouse I can still use the computer as normal. Videos continue playing etc etc. 

I have tried to reinstall the whole computer, as late as yesterday, upgrading my drivers with both HPs and Synaptics standard drivers. I have tried to reinstall the drivers - and possibly the most that is possible to do. 

To solve the problem, temporarily, I can put the computer in "powersaving mode" and when it is complete, I can just start it up again - and everything works fine. Now, most often it only takes about ten minutes for the problem to be back again.

First, I thought it was when the computer got to hot - when I had it on my lap - but when I'm started to get the prolem when I had it on my desk, I know that there is some other problem...

So, my questions to you is:

Is there any solution for this problem, since I'm not the only one to experience this problem or is it just to get a replacement PC?

I have exactly the same problem with my Pavilion dm 1.  If I plug in a USB mouse it works.

Do you have an answer yet from HP?

They said that I should send it in to their service facility and it has been there since the 7th august andI haven't heard anything yet...

I have exactly the same issue. I bought HP dm1 (AMD machine) in India and still facing the same problem. Did somebody has the fix for this issue?
