Notebook freezes when Network Connection is lost or interrupted.

I'm having problems with my HP Pavillion dm4 Notebook. When my router restarts or when my internet connection is interrupted my computer locks up and is completely unresponsive (CTRL + Alt + Delete/Task Manager refuse to open.) The only "solution" albeit an annoying one is to turn the computer off using the power button. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

 

 

   This thread has been being passed by for the obvious.  Please open the Hp Support Assistant and check for updates. You can also manually check on your product's page.
