Pavillion dv2700 freezes after untouched for 5min

Hi,

 

I went on a holiday for a couple of weeks during which my laptop was just being untouched at home. (shut off and off electricity of course)

When coming back i started to have this weird problem that the laptop is working fine but as soon as I dont touch it for 5min it freezes. Nothing reacts, screens turns kinda whitish and shows "no feedback"... Not even the Task Manager would start, I have to kill switch then everytime.

Any ideas what could be the problem? I am very thankful for any help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
