Presario 3015 US Wont Boot Help !!

A friend of mine gave me a Presario 3000 which has been working fine until today i decided to download drivers for my cd/dvd player and a wireless driver because i can't connect to the internet wirless and my cd/dvd rom stop working. I use  windows xp as my OS and my product number is Presario 3015 US Notebook PC. I downloaded the two files below, and now all i have is a black screen on my notebook. I test the memory, I also did the power surge check, and still a black screen and when i press the power button the second light next to the adapter light wont stay on. THe lights on the bottom stay on. My cd/dvd drive also no longer reads software.. I know a system restore would work if i could just turn this thing on. Please Help if you can..
