--for the Internet, reset the Internet Explorer settings by typing "Internet Options' in the start menu and selecting the same thing from the search results, then select 'Advanced' Tab and there you will find the option of 'Reset'
--for the slowness, perform a power drain by removing the battery and removing all the devices connected to the nb, and holding down the power button for 15-20secs
--then go to Start, in the search bar type 'msconfig' and select "Normal Stratup' in the General Tab. Next go to the 'Startup' Tab and disbale all the startup items
--if the issue is still not resolved, then try doing a system recovery that is reinstalling windows from the recovery partition(press F11 as soon as the nb starts up)
REVERT IF U HAVE ANY ISSUES OR CALL 8004746836 if its a Pavillion Nb and 8664085408 if its a Touchsmart NB

What model laptop? In the task manager, what processes are running that are eating up all of the CPU?
