I have a Pavilion g6-1d60us and the touchpad works fine when I first turn the computer on, but after a while it is very hard to get the cursor to move and when it does it's very erratic. Can't pinpoint it on what I want to click on. Please help!

Hi:
Maybe you want to install the latest driver directly from synaptics and see if that helps.
The driver version is up to v15.2

Thanks for the suggestion. I did update the driver & it made no difference. I have a mouse plugged in to be able to use it. Very frustrating.

I've done this. Reinstalled latest driver three times. I was on with HP support for over an hour and also went through all my power settings.
After about ten minutes of non-use my touchpad just locks up. What else can I do if uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work?
