You really should identify your notebok if you would like a bit of help. How to identify your notebook PC.

What is the installed operating system and service pack level?
What you need is a Windows repair disk or a Windows install dvd (you can borrow one) to be able to give the built in startup repair a shot at fixing your operating system.
The startup repair disk or Windows install DVD must be identical to the version that is installed in your notebook.
