VERY ANNOYING --HP Mini 210 -2000. Will not shut down when prompted.

When i go to shut my net book down, it recognises the command but does not shut down. I have tried log off and that won't work either.

Please Advise !!

    I'm having the same issue on my Mini 210-1170NR, just ran an update, thought I had shut it down. Come back and it initializes (from hibernate) and it will not respond to shut down, restart, cntrl alt delete or other command functions. The only one that does work is hibernate.

    Windows 7 Starter

    I have just got used to holding the power button untill it switches off. Unless anyone can help us out, that will have to do.
