When I disconnect my charger, the mouse and keyboard will stop working and have to turn off comp

Hi everyone, I got a new computer, HP PAVILION and ervy single time I disconnect the charger from the electric plug, the mouse and keyboard will stop working, which means, ebry single time I have to turn off the computer with the power button and then turn it back on again, and of course I got that black screen saying that windows was not shut down properly and all that.

Also if I turn the computer on, and it is not plugged, then I will only see a black screen and will never start from there.

\Can anyone help me?

I do not really know anything about computers, so if anyone can help, please be mindful of that, so u can give me some explanation in a very basic language,

Thanks a lot

First off, we need to know the model number of your computer so that we can see if there are any updates we can have you install that might fix this. Let's see that model number and go from there..
