I know I have been everywhere including Dell it is a general

problem. Just looking for a solution!

clean boot is not a solution for this issue but works for some pc's only that too only once problem surfaces again. the only solution is downgrade to intel managment interface engine  to 9.xxxx i think this works. i will try this

i read in somewhere in internet that microsoft and intel are working on this issue very seriously , soon they may find out solution for this bug.

@gangadhar12 I hope you successfully downgraded your IME driver to 9.5.xx 🙂

For me, it has been since 10 days that I have downgraded IMEI driver, and everything is running fine.

P.S. I do heavy duty on my laptop i.e. playing GTA V for 1-2 hours, then NFS Rivals, then downloading movies and watching for hours. It remains on for atleast 6-7 hours continuously per day and shutdown/reboot/bibernate/sleep behavior is absolutely fine since the downgrade.
