I have an HP G62 Notebook with Windows 7 Premium. Windows Live Mail (Yahoo) will open but then freezes. I have tried rebooting both computer and wireless router but to no avail. Any advice please.

Thank you for your suggestion. However, the first thing it tells me to do is backup my messages from Windows Live Mail by exporting them to a new folder. But this I cannot do as it is frozen! Still stumped!!

This is a bug from a recent Windows patch.
Uninstall the Windows update KB2454826 and tell Windows not to install it again until MS fixes the issue.

I had this problem right after some HP updates...as suggested in the forum, when I deleted the patch, the problem was fixed.
Unfortunately, I now have the problem again--does anyone know what update or download caused my most recent problem?
Should I get rid of Windows Live? I'd really rather not--as it is most like Outlook Express and all my old email files are transferred to it.
Thanks!
