at start up of computer windows 7 says gfxui hp support not working

At every start up of computer a message comes up and a green download bar searching for answer. Message is GFxUI HP Support not working. And if you go to HP support assistant it says error.

Please try this step given in web link given below might help you to fix the issue.

Incase if this does not help try doing a system restore to the date where unit was working fine.

Hi, I have been working on it, but it did not help. Wrote down what you said, then printed it out thinking I missed something. Tried to figure out how to get to restart computer before problem. I'm hoping you can help me with restarting at a earlier date. After 4 hours yesterday of trying to restart. I called HP. They said I was out of warranty and they could fix it. For a lot of money. But I told them after GFxUI comes up it says to go to HP support assistant and that says it has stopped working also. But Hp says it is for the life of your computer. He said I had a virus and that stopped it from working. And so it's not their problem. I have had Norton from day 1 and they won't let a virus come in. So how can that be. I tried to download HP assistant and a HPSAObjUtil error came up. Their was also a link to remove the HP assistant. Do you think that would help, then down load it again. My Computer is 14 months old and only used for home use. Its a G62-457DX. It's my 4th HP and I'm wishing now I had bought a cheap computer. Thank you for all your help. I thank you for trying to help me. I hope you can help again. To restore to a earlier date.

Please try these steps for HP Support Assistant and then try to do a update might help you out.
