i have a hp pavilion dv67-4000 with windows 7 64bits.....As long as i leave it on,it works find..I tried hp support assistant..Install new memory,replace hard drive,fresh install win 7 with all updates....If i reboot (restart) it will work right...if i turn it off and wait alittle and try to turn it back on...i just get a black screen..i tried, replacing memory,hard drive.i took out mother board battery.i tried everything....i have no laptop battery.......i press on/off botton.about 50 times.pull adapter plug

I bought a new battery...I let it charges !00%.. I unplug the adapter..reboot first try.Came right back on..I click to turn it off, i waited 24 hours before turning back on..It came right back on...Only trouble now is the keyboard not working right...I didn't try to drain the battery yet to let laptop turn off .Then repluging adapter back in.reboot it back on..will be my next step later on...
